80 West Jakarta Participate Free Culinary Training

West Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM)s Sub-agency held training to develop new culinary industry entrepreneurs at the Pegadungan and Kalijodo RPTRAs. Eighty participants attended the training.

One of residents living in Kalideres District, Nengsih (40), thanked and appreciated this free training to improve her skills.

"We also get free cooking equipment. Surely we are able to make new product now," she said, Wednesday (9/3).

40 Jakpreneurs in Kelapa Gading Attend Culinary Training

Meanwhile, Sub-agency Head, Iqbal Idham Ramid explained this entrepreneurship training aims to improve the technical skills and product development of small business owners.

"Five culinary batches and one fashion batch training are held in every district," he explained.

According to him, the training will be held two days in a row.

"The material presented includes making siomay, fried batagor, jelly milk tea, dim sum, risol mayo, jongkong cup porridge, brown sugar pudding and basil lime ice," he added.

Iqbal hopes this training will enhance the participants' knowledge and skills in the culinary field, enabling them to become reliable entrepreneurs and compete globally.

According to him, they will receive a number of cooking equipment such as a vacuum sealer, mixer, and chopper at the end of training.
